His first two years he worked as a R+D physicist at St. Gobain, an automotive and construction glass manufacturer in Aachen. Then he joined Dicke+Wicharz, a management consulting firm in Neuss, Duesseldorf for three years. In late 1993 he joind FRABA as one of the founding partners. | Axel Wiemann, Born 1948 |
He started his career as an apprentice for 2 years with EBV Steelworks in Alsdorf. He joined FRABA as a project engineer in 1974 and participated as a partner in the the foundation of the new FRABA. Education: Industrial Electrician, EBV; Electrical Engineer, Rheinische Akademie, Cologne. |

| Bernd Kagerer, Born 1974 |
He started his career first as a development engineer and later as a product manager with Nanofocus AG in Oberhausen. In 2003 he joined FRABA and was elected as a partner in 2007. Education: Master of Science in Physics, Gerhard Mercator University of Duisburg |

| Christian Fell, Born 1970 |
After his graduation he worked as a research associate at the cryogenic laboratories of the Gerhard Mercator University, Duisburg. He then joined FRABA in 2000 where he led the development of a new technology platform for our optical encoder product line. He was elected as a partner in 2007. He started his career as a junior consultant at Booz,Allen+Hamilton in Duesseldorf. He then founded an advertising company which he closed two years later. Then he joined McKinsey and spent more than five years as a consultant in Duesseldorf, Rio de Janeiro, and New York. In late 1993 he joined FRABA as one of the founding partners. He started his cereer with a trainee program at NEC in Sagamihara, Japan. He then spent 4 years with the Fraunhofer-Institute for Laser Technology in Aachen.
